On Monday 3rd July, Squirrel Class went to the Science Observatory in Herstmonceux. First, the children took part in a building a bridge activity, where they had to work as a team. Next, they explored the exhibit corridor which had lots of interactive scientific displays. Afterwards, the class went to the telescopic dome to learn about the historical background of the observatory. At the end of the day, the children had chance to see play outside in the discovery park and water circuit. The children also very much enjoyed the \u2018Newton\u2019 show where they learnt about energy and different forces. A big thank you to all the adult helpers who kindly gave up their time to make the day happen.<\/p>\n
