On Thursday 8th February we had PALS Assembly. This is where we do two things: review the theme of this term which was “Courage” and share our books and learning with children from other classes.<\/p>\n

Courage<\/h2>\n

Miss Lewis asked us about how we have shown courage this term. This is our worship theme where we have learnt about Bible stories that teach us about courage.<\/p>\n

Here are some quotes from the children<\/p>\n

\u201cCourage means being brave in your school work.\u201d -Oscar<\/em><\/p>\n

Courage involves facing challenges.<\/p>\n

\u201cI face a challenge of doing crate stacking on our school trip.\u201d -Abbie<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI faced the dark cave.\u201d -Summer<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI did a reading assessment this term. I showed courage to complete it!\u201d<\/p>\n

Courage means overcoming fears<\/p>\n

\u201cImproving your work and going for higher challenges shows courage.\u201d -Leo<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI will be brave when I hurt myself.\u201d -Lorenzo<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIn my school work I will be courageous and keep going, not giving up.\u201d -Holly Z<\/em><\/p>\n

Sharing Our Books<\/h2>\n

Older children paired up with younger children in the school to share learning.<\/p>\n

This term we shared our RE Books and another book of our choice.<\/p>\n

\u201cJames can add more detail to describe different pictures of Jesus doing kind things and adding detail.\u201d -Oscar<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cFlorence has written about the 3 Kings and has added lots of detail. I can see an improvement in Florence\u2019s work and writing over the term.\u201d -Charlie<\/em><\/p>\n
