Year 5 and 6 had their first Forest School session this week! As the topic is \u2018Survival of the Fittest\u2019, Year 5 and 6 had a very interesting challenge in Forest School.<\/p>\n

They pretended they were shipwrecked and had to work as a team to build a fire and make a signal for someone to come and rescue them.<\/p>\n

Archie said \u201cI loved how we got on well in teams. We learnt new skills from each other!\u201d<\/p>\n

Saffron commented \u201cI enjoyed the challenge of keeping our fire upright!\u201d<\/p>\n

Matilda said \u201cWe had to work as a team to build an SOS bonfire\u2014the smoke signals will alert some people!\u201d<\/p>\n

Please ensure you have your Forest School kit in school for Thursday afternoons!<\/p>\n
