On Monday 1st April, the children took part in a Progress and Learning, Sharing assembly with a focus on the Christian Value of compassion.<\/p>\n

The children shared their work with one another to comment on the Growth Mindset and progress within their work.<\/p>\n

Charlie said, \u201cOscar (Year R) has improved in his maths and knows his odd numbers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sophia said, \u201cAlexandra has got better at her timetables.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robert said, \u201cMalakai has improved the types of words he is using.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lotte said, \u201cBeatrice has moved from going on the warm challenge and at the end of her book she is working on the spicy challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n

Destiny said, \u201cWillow has improved her sentence writing and her drawings have improved.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lexi said, \u201cPoppy has got better at solving multiplication problems.\u201d<\/p>\n

The children also asked one another how they have used compassion within their lives.<\/p>\n

Ruby-Jean described compassion as meaning \u201creassuring people it will be okay.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt means being kind to others.\u201d said Tom.<\/p>\n

Sophia describes compassion as \u201csometimes putting others before yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Esther shared a time she displayed compassion in school. \u201cI cheered Oscar up when he was feeling sad.\u201d<\/p>\n

What a great assembly it was! It was lovely to hear so many positive comments and see such high quality work being shared!<\/p>\n
