Oaks had a wonderful WW2 day – the children looked amazing in their costumes! They started their day by writing an evacuee label before being sorted into groups, as if they had been evacuated and sent away.<\/p>\n

They enjoyed a range of activities which included exploring and learning about a WW2 tractor, learning about rationing and role play buying and selling food. They also made butter and learnt about the life of a land girl. They then made posters with photos about their day to share with parents who came in. Oaks – it was a pleasure going back in time with you!<\/p>\n
