Willow class were full of energy, so we started our sessions by playing some games we knew and learning some new ones.<\/p>\n

They played a game of \u2018Scissors, paper stone\u2019 on the bridge in teams and \u2018Giants, Wizards, Elves\u2019 in the bluebells in the woods.<\/p>\n

The impact of Forest School can be seen through the skills, tools used, art and craft activities, observations and knowledge of the fruit, plants trees in relation to the seasons and the skills involved in learning how to play Forest School games.<\/p>\n

Willow Class had a challenge to find something in the woods to classify. They talked about different animals, birds, plants and other features and objects they could find in the woodland. Then they went off to collect things which they could classify. They drew and wrote about them as they classified them on the table.<\/p>\n

Then it was onto drawing, stream play, and tree climbing and also challenging themselves to walk the slack line without a guide rope.<\/p>\n
