We went to Hever Castle as part of our \u2018Once Upon a Time\u2019 learning journey. What a fantastic way to end our term!<\/p>\n

After our first trip in a minibus together, the children started their day with a visit to the castle, feeding ducks in the moat along the way.<\/p>\n

They learned about Anne Boylen, who was a child at the castle. She then grew up to become a queen by marrying King Henry 8th.<\/p>\n

The spiral staircases were fun!<\/p>\n

The children saw lots of fish in the moat and conquered the maze, without getting too lost!<\/p>\n

They wandered the formal gardens, spotting fountains, waterfalls and signs of spring. They bravely crossed a stream over stepping stones and spent a fantastic time in the adventure playground.<\/p>\n

Such great friendships, risk taking, challenges, being brave and having a lot of fun together.<\/p>\n
