Maple Class took clipboards and pencils to record signs of spring. Thy palyed a hiding game of \u2018Owl Eyes\u2019 in the reeds in the meadow, trying to be still and hide, without being spotted by the owl.<\/p>\n

The children showed how much progress they have made with their gross motor skills, each climbing the styles independently<\/p>\n

The Impact of Forest School for the children is the knowledge the children have gained from the Forest School experience.<\/p>\n

The impact can be seen through the skills, tools used, art and craft activities, observations and knowledge of the fruit, plants trees in relation to the seasons and the skills involved in learning how to play Forest School games.<\/p>\n

The children rested on the fallen tree bench, then spent a long time exploring the sandy mud in the field. They worked together to explore the soil and made some volcanoes!<\/p>\n

They measured themselves against some newly planting saplings and looked at the tops of the trees to notice how they are changing.<\/p>\n

Maple Class explored the stream, the swings and made rhythms by tapping sticks together in the woods.<\/p>\n
