In Badger Class, the children complete the Upper Key Stage Two curriculum and deepen their knowledge and skills. Towards the end of Year 6, they take their SATs. Our learning covers a wide range of topics, including World War 2, Victorians, Ancient Egypt and Vikings.

Every other year, the children have the chance to enjoy a residential trip to PGL, where they build their resilience, independence and team building skills through a range of activities and challenges. They also have the opportunity to gain their Bikeability Award, learning how to ride safely on roads, and to attend ‘Safety in Action’, which helps prepare them with a wide range of safety knowledge, including phoning the emergency services, water safety and train safety, before moving onto secondary school.

At the end of each academic year, Badger Class put on a summer production. They make the props, costumes and dedicate themselves to learning their lines and songs, before performing to friends and family. Past productions have included ‘Mission Implausible’, ‘The X Factory’ and ‘Rock Bottom’.

Badger Class enjoy attending a range of sports tournaments, including football, rugby, netball, cross country and a swimming gala.
