The new academic year was warm and sunny in Forest School. Our first session fell on the Autumn Equinox, so we talked about what this means and what we expect to see in Autumn.
We remembered how last year we had lots of acorns on the site’s floor, but this year not one so far, we looked. Luckily, we did have some conkers foraged from elsewhere. So, with their palm drill skills, persistence, and enthusiasm, they made necklaces.
Much fun was also had by rolling down the hill, swaying in the hammock and lots of lovely imaginative play.
