We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Silver Mark Award for the 2024/25 academic year. The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.
A special thanks to Miss Boswell, Mr Elphick and the Active Education Sussex team. We look forward to applying once again in 2026!
Members of Year 5/6 represented Chiddingly in a football tournament on Tuesday. We played 4 games in the group stages and drew 2, lost 1 and won 1. We were then in the semi final for the Vase but were sadly knocked out in penalties. Despite the rain we played excellently, the players showed some wonderful teamwork skills and all worked very hard. Well done team Chiddingly!
A big thank you to Miss B for leading our team so well and the AES coaches for arranging the event. We look forward to hosting this fun tournament again next week for some Year 3/4 children!

A huge congratulations to the girls and boys who were part of the teams representing Chiddingly at Bede’s football tournaments! They should be very proud of themselves for showing team spirit and determination. Thank you to Active Education Sussex for arranging. They looked so professional in the football kits!
