Achievement for all
Learning together
Learning for life
Under God's Rule
Welcome to East Hoathly Church of England (Controlled) Primary School. We are all so proud of our current position of strength, completely committed to providing outstanding education to our pupils. What is taught to the children here is important but even more important is how it is taught. Our excellent staff have been recruited for their passion, enthusiasm and imagination with children to ensure that every single class is engaged, excited and challenged by the learning experiences here. Children's time in their Primary School is vitally important and all too short and so our focus on their needs is relentless. We are very ambitious for them whilst remaining committed to their happiness and well-being at all times. Come and see for yourself.
I am privileged and proud to be head at East Hoathly CE Primary School and Nursery and to work with a dedicated team to provide the best education and life skills for the children in our care.
We aim to foster a love of learning in our children to allow every child to work to the best of their ability. We strive for excellence in all that we do. We are currently developing the curriculum to make school even more purposeful, enjoyable and relevant for the children while at the same time establishing rigour and high expectations.
We encourage the full potential of every person by providing a safe and secure environment which places Christ at the centre of every aspect of school life. We aim to build warm and positive relationships with parents and others we work with to enable us to work together to prepare children to provide a service to society as good citizens.
We hope that, by the time the children leave the East Hoathly they will have embraced all of the wonderful opportunities available to them and will have achieved the very best of which they are capable. They will have enjoyed their time here and developed self-confidence and independence.
I hope you see East Hoathly as a family, where every child matters and a community that celebrates each individual’s contribution.
I warmly invite you to visit our lovely school and see, at first hand, our mission manifest by our community.
Best wishes,
Mrs Alice Briley
