If you would like to visit East Hoathly CE primary School and Nursery before applying for your child to join our Reception class in September, please contact us as we run several Open Days in the Autumn term. Once your child has been offered a place and you have accepted, they will be invited to one of our taster sessions. These are run by the Reception teachers and help to ensure they are excited and confident about starting ‘big school’. Our Reception teachers will also come and visit you and your child at home during the first week of the new academic year.
Applications for a new school place in our Reception class must be made via the local authority. Please do not hesitate to contact the school office if we can be of any assistance.
If your child is transferring to East Hoathly CE Primary School from another school, please contact the school office to check whether we have space available in your child’s year group and we will advise you of the next steps. If you would like to have a tour of the school, please contact our school office on 01825 840247 or email us at easthoathlyoffice@pioneerfederation.co.uk. The application is also made directly with East Sussex County Council.
