Foxes had a fantastic time on World Book Day. The children enjoyed sharing their outfits and explaining who they had come as, and why that character was important to them. It was lovely to see them getting so much enjoyment sharing their favourite books together.
We then created timeline for the strange events that happened in our chosen book Tuesday by David Wiesner. I was very impressed with how closely they were ‘reading’ the pictures for clues for making inferences using what they already knew. I think it was my favourite class discussion of the year so far! The children then took turns interviewing each other as characters from the text, and took their roles very seriously indeed!
