On Tuesday, we went to Bede’s to do a junior model UN conference. There were lots of other schools, and all of us were assigned a country, a topic, and a side (for/against).
Our school was split into two teams: China and Senegal. We all had to write a speech and present it to everyone in the hall. At the end, everyone asked questions (points of information) to one of the sides, then they would vote to see if the statement would pass.
It was very fun and we both hope to do something like this in the future!
