School meals are freshly cooked on our premises. Chartwells company organises a traditional choice menu with vegetarian and special diets catered for on request. We are an egg and nut-free school.
Our school cook offers three delicious hot meals a day: choice one – a meat option; choice two – a vegetarian option and choice three- a jacket potato option with a choice of two fillings.
The menu changes three times a year and from time to time there may be a themed and separate menu which will be handed out to show the different meal choices.
Some children prefer to bring a packed lunch which they can eat in the hall alongside the children having a school dinner.

Free school meals are available to all Reception and KS1 pupils. In addition pupils of any age whose parents receive Income Support, Job Seeker’s Allowance (income-based), Employment and Support Allowance (income related) and, in some cases, Child Tax Credit are entitled to a free school meal. If you feel you are entitled to free school meals you can apply here
