100th Birthday of Winnie the Pooh – Anniversary Parade and Watching a Time Capsule Being Buried

To celebrate Winnie the Pooh turning 100, the whole school paraded around Hartfield village, displaying our marvellous bamboo sculptures.

“It liked walking, it was fun walking around.” Lander

“I liked showing my owl to everyone who came to watch.” Teddy

In the afternoon, our Year 6 pupils were invited to Pooh Corner, to watch the burial of a very special time capsule to mark the 100 year anniversary. BBC South East Today were at Pooh Corner and interviewed some of our pupils. The children enjoyed watching themselves on TV on the news!
