Term 1 and 2 Homework

Below is an overview of the homework Willow Class will be set for term 1 and 2. This applies to the majority of children, although some children will have individualised aspects to the homework which I will speak with you separately about once some initial assessments have been done. We are using CGP books for maths and grammar/spelling.

All homework will be due on a Monday. The homework will be marked in school and brought home again. We will learn spellings in class and some of their grammar homework pages will be focused on spelling patterns: we will not be sending spellings home to learn.
Completed homework will be rewarded and celebrated in class to help the children begin to build habits of completing homework as they move up through Key Stage Two in readiness for secondary school.

Grammar and Maths homework is set fortnightly and the page numbers for their CGP Grammar books are below for the term.
