Context

  • One child in Y2 working within PK4 for reading and writing (SEND)
  • Phonics Y2 – 4 retakes. 3 passed. Child working at PK4 did not pass.
  • Provision for phonics will be heavily featured in the recovery curriculum (particularly for children going into Year 3)
  • One child did not make expected progress from ‘expected’ to ‘expected’ from KS1 due to SEND needs currently being explored.
  • One child did not make expected progress from ‘exceeding’ to ‘Greater Depth’ due to lack of evidence and consolidation required for GDS at KS1 due to Covid19 lockdown. It is possible the child would have achieved GDS with the planned intervention but assessments have been cautious.
