School Meals

School meals are freshly cooked on our premises. Chartwells company organises a traditional choice menu with vegetarian and special diets catered for on request. We are an egg and nut-free school.

Our school cook offers three delicious hot meals a day: choice one – a meat option; choice two – a vegetarian option and choice three- a jacket potato option with a choice of two fillings. We also offer a baguette/sandwich option as well as the main, vegetarian etc.

The menu changes three times a year and from time to time there may be a themed and separate menu which will be handed out to show the different meal choices.

Some children prefer to bring a packed lunch which they can eat in the hall alongside the children having a school dinner.

Please see the noticeboard at the front of the school for the most up to date menu.

Free school meals are available to all Reception and KS1 pupils. In addition pupils of any age whose parents receive Income Support, Job Seeker’s Allowance (income-based), Employment and Support Allowance (income related) and, in some cases, Child Tax Credit are entitled to a free school meal.
