Set in the beautiful Sussex countryside our Church of England (Voluntary Aided) School serves families from Hartfield & the surrounding towns and villages. We are fortunate to have a team of the most wonderful children & staff and pride ourselves on putting the children at the heart of everything we do. St. Mary’s is a warm & nurturing school providing an engaging curriculum that can foster a passion for learning, curiosity & self-confidence. St Marys School, is a truly unique place to belong. I feel very privileged to lead this school where children ‘delight in attending’. Our small school ensures that every pupil is known and valued and that their individual needs are met. We are dedicated to nurturing curiosity, creativity and resilience, while fostering a love of learning. At the heart of what we do is our commitment to work in connection with our families to create a safe, happy and purposeful environment where children can flourish.

Luke 10 25-37 teaches us to Love others as we wanted to be treated. John 6 1-14 teaches us to recognize other’s Strengths and use our own to be resilient. Luke 5 1-11, tells us to have Faith in ourselves and to believe in the capabilities of others.
