English Network Group – Ashdown AWhat is the purpose of the Group?
The core purpose of the Network Group is to enable the schools within our local area to share good practice and develop the CPD of all teachers of English at primary level to ensure that all pupils achieve the best possible outcomes in English.
The Ashdown A group is co-ordinated by Becca Hare (Head of School at St Mary the Virgin Primary School and Writing Lead for the Pioneer Federation) and Vicky Lewis (Head of School of East Hoathly Primary School and Reading Lead for the Pioneer Federation). The Network Group is supported by English specialists at East Sussex County Council. The aim is for the group to meet across the academic year, sharing good practice and taking part in ‘Gap Tasks’ aimed at trialling new ideas and creating innovative teaching methods.
